Effective the 10th day of April, 2008, MVP Services will be the First and Only recruiting company to incorporate the YouTube video upload services into the MVP Video Profile system. Parents and/or athletes will now possess the capability to upload videos directly into the YouTube video system, with videos posting directly to the athlete's video profile. The YouTube video upload system is easily obtained by the parent and/or athlete within the profile administration area. The parent and/or athlete may upload up to four (4), ten (10) minute videos to showcase the athlete's athletic abilities. The videos are programmed automatically into a Flash video, allowing the college coaches to view the videos right from the athlete's profile. Flash video is the number one preferred video to view while using the internet.

An Athletic Scholarship is the number one goal of every high school age athlete competing in sports today!!  To receive an athletic scholarship an athlete must possess the talent to compete in collegiate athletics, maintain good grades, excel on the ACT or SAT scores, and reach out to the right college coaches…coaches whose programs and colleges are a good match for the athlete.  Some college-bound student-athletes will receive full athletic scholarships and some partial athletic scholarships, while others are offered and accept other kinds of scholarships and financial aid.  

The chance to compete in intercollegiate athletics and receive a college athletic scholarship is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity.  As the competition in amateur athletics continues to heat up, so does the competition in recruiting student-athletes for college athletic programs.  Most high school athletes are not simply discovered by a college coach showing up at their practice or game, or even by being recommended to a few college colleges by a relative or friend.  This simply does not automatically give the college-bound student-athlete a step-up on being recruited over other athletes. Competition is fierce, and most, if not all college coaches would explain the recruitment of athletes has become very technical and sophisticated!!  College-bound student-athletes and their parents must become proactive and take additional steps to attracted the college coaches' attention.
